The path to membership at St. James is not complicated. Becoming a member of Saint James is available to you (whether you are new, transferred, confirmed or received) either by being baptized and/or having your baptism recorded in our parish records.

If you have been baptized in another Episcopal Church, please send your previous church a Request for a Letter of Transfer. This form can be found at the bottom of the page. If you prefer, bring the filled in form to the office and we can help you with the process.

Membership at Saint James Episcopal Church brings you into fellowship with all the faithful believers and makes you one with Christ's Body, the Church. It also makes you part of the Episcopal Church and the worldwide Anglican Communion.

If you would like become a member of St. James, please fill out our short Membership Information form (one per family member - please). This will help us a great deal to begin formally entering information into our parish record.

We hope that you will become and stay an Active Communicant in good standing. To become a communicant, you must have been baptized with water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, worship at St. James and be actively receiving the Holy Eucharist.

Questions?: If you are an adult and have been baptized (either as an infant, youth, or an adult), or if you have never been baptized,  or you are unsure if you have been baptized, please contact the priest.
