Welcome to St. James
Since 1842, our historic congregation in Greeneville, Tennessee has been seeking and finding unity with God and each other in Jesus Christ Our Lord.

The whole community of St. James Episcopal Church is dedicated to making your experience here a time of connection and enrichment – a time to connect with God and enrich your life.

You will find us to be a supportive community full of God’s children who will welcome you without pressure.

If you are seeking a community of faith, we wish to respond however will suit you best. If you have questions, wants or needs, or if you would like information about participating more fully in the life of the church, we invite you to contact St. James at your convenience.

We strive to be a place of “radical hospitality” as we seek to serve Jesus Christ in one another, and we hope that you will feel the presence of the living Christ among us in this wonderful active community.

We hope that you will continue explore and connect with the St. James community, seek and ask questions, as we participate in mission and ministry and proclaim the Good News of Our Lord Jesus Christ together.
